Czech Railways, as a technical supervisor of EUR pallets with CD features applied outside the manufacturing requirements under the Code of EUR pallets UIC 435-2 a measure of fingerprint identification and subsequent quality control. This marking is 1 6th 2009 copper-colored metal clip which is affixed to the middle blocks long side, always on one side only. Therefore, if a variety of manufactured date from the sixth month of 2009 have this designation can be considered a forgery.
In the second half of 2009, Czech Railways, as a member of the International Union of Railways and the technical supervisor of EUR pallets have built into their demands measures under the International Union of Railways (UIC), which concern the treatment of wooden packaging from pests, according to international standard ISPM 15
At the meeting on 13 and 14 October 2009 at Vienna was made for all members of the UIC, which relate to the treatment and marking of the new euro pallets.
All new EUR pallets manufactured after 1 1st 2010 must be treated and marked with the IPPC, in accordance with the FAO standard ISPM 15 The designation of these pallets must be in the middle blocks long by EUR pallets. Identification of such copper color palette clip (see above) remains in force in that its location in the middle long block party must be in a place cd so as not to interfere in the IPPC mark.
These measures came into force on 1 January 2010.
